Time clock Installation / Connection

Timelogix time clocks are equipped with a 10/100 NIC card that allows connecting the time clock to a network. By default, the time clock will be configured to use the DHCP settings of your network, allowing the time clock to receive an IP automatically. It is not required for you to know the IP address assigned to the time clock, however if needed, you could assign the time clock a static IP.

The time clock features "Push" technology which enables sending the information to the central server database in real-time without having to request it from the time clock. This is great feature which ensures your time and attendance information is delivered to the centralized server at the exact momnet it happens.

The time clock will connect to the web based software over a TCP/IP network connection. As long as the time clock is properly configured and connected, it will send the information to the server database in real-time. There are two ways the time clock can be configured to connect to the software and this depends on the type of software you purchased from our company.
